How AdsGTM works: who it’s for, the process and what you get

Who AdsGTM is for, what happens from the 30-minute kickoff to delivery in 72 hours, every deliverable you receive, pricing, revisions and Slack support.

AdsGTM maps your whole market for you. On a 30-minute kickoff call we agree who you sell to, and within 72 hours you get one master list of every company and buyer that fits your ICP: enriched with LinkedIn URLs and verified work emails (phones optional), scored, and split into Sales-ready and Marketing-ready, in your CRM or as a CSV.

You pay once. Our GTM team then stays with you in a shared Slack channel for 12 months. AdsGTM is the done-for-you services team at Contactlevel and builds on the same data.

Is AdsGTM done-for-you lead generation?

It covers the part of lead generation most teams get stuck on: knowing exactly who to go after. We do the research, data and scoring work a GTM engineer would do, and hand you the finished list. We don't send your emails or run your ads.

So it's closer to a list building service with a GTM team attached. Outsourced lead generation agencies usually charge a monthly retainer and run outbound for you. We build the list once, for a fixed price, and you run it, or your agency does.

Who AdsGTM is for

AdsGTM suits B2B teams that want to see their whole market before spending on ads or outbound, but don't have a GTM engineer to build the list. Usually that's one of three kinds of customer.

Heads of marketing and founders at B2B companies, often with 10 to 200 people, who need one list that both sales and marketing can work from.

Agencies that run ads or outbound for clients. We build TAM lists that agencies deliver to their clients, and we offer partner pricing. For Alia Popups, working through the agency Hey Digital, we built a 12,000-contact list. Hey Digital's verdict: "You turned that around way faster than some GTM engineers told us they could."

Teams that already have a target account list and need the people inside it. For High Command, we built 2,683 contacts from a CSV of companies.

Who it's not for

  • You already have a GTM engineer running a tool like Clay every day. You probably don't need us for the build. Clay is a great tool for teams with someone to run it, and Contactlevel's data is available inside it. The GTM engineer guide covers when hiring makes sense.
  • You want someone to run outbound on a monthly retainer. We build the list and hand it over.
  • You sell to consumers. We map business buyers.
  • Most of your market is outside North America, the EU and the UK. Coverage is deepest there. Elsewhere, ask for a count on the call before you commit.
  • You want to upload the list straight to LinkedIn or Meta. The list doesn't include the identifiers ad platforms match on. More on that below.

The process, from kickoff to delivery

1. Kickoff call, 30 minutes

We meet on Google Meet or Zoom. Dag, our GTM lead, runs the call and owns your ICP. Together we agree the industries, company sizes, regions and titles you sell to.

Most teams we work with don't have an ICP written down. That's fine: we start from your offer, your best customers and your won deals, and check the criteria against live counts during the call, so you see how big your market is before anything gets built. The ideal customer profile guide shows how to prepare.

2. We map, enrich and score your market

We find every company that matches and the buyers inside each one, across the buying committee. Each contact gets a LinkedIn URL and a work email checked with an email verifier, plus direct dials and mobiles if you chose phones.

Then we score. Intent comes from what people are actually researching: their web activity, their engagement with competitors and their search queries. We don't count generic signals like hiring or funding rounds. Scores weigh how strong those signals are and how many related signals cluster around a topic, and we tailor the scoring to your ICP, your offer and your priorities. Intent data and account scoring explain the method.

3. Delivery within 72 hours

Most builds are delivered within 72 hours of the kickoff call. Your files land in the shared Slack channel and sync to your CRM.

4. Three revisions included

If the first version is too wide, too narrow or missing a segment, you get three revisions to get it right.

5. Twelve months of Slack support

The shared channel stays open for 12 months. Ask about the data, get help planning your first campaign, or scope the next region you want added.

What you get

  • Your master list. Every buyer with LinkedIn, verified work email, phone if you chose phones, intent topics, list and priority. The guide to what's in your list explains each field.
  • A Sales-ready list. Contacts at companies showing buying intent right now, usually around 5% of your TAM, for your reps to work first. See Sales-ready TAM.
  • A Marketing-ready list. Everyone else in your market who fits your ICP but isn't in-market yet, to warm up with ads, content and events. See Marketing-ready TAM.
  • Scores and tiers. Every company is scored and given a priority tier.
  • Your ICP, written down. The criteria we agreed on the call, as a document you keep.
  • CRM sync or CSV. Delivered into HubSpot, Salesforce or Attio, or as a CSV.
  • A GTM team in Slack for 12 months.

For Acme, the example on our homepage, that meant 46,910 contacts at 18,240 companies, split into 2,346 Sales-ready and 44,564 Marketing-ready, delivered as Sales-ready and Marketing-ready files plus the ICP brief, and synced to HubSpot.

Pricing and refreshes

Pricing is one-time, per build, based on how many contacts your market holds. There's no subscription, no seats and no credits.

TierContactsLinkedIn and emailsLinkedIn, emails and phones
FocusedUp to 50,000$2,900$4,900
MarketUp to 150,000$4,900$7,900
Full TAMUp to 300,000$7,900$11,900

Focused suits one core segment or a niche market. Market covers your full ICP across a region or vertical. Full TAM covers every ICP-fit contact in every market you sell to.

Add phones if your team cold calls. If you only run ads, email and LinkedIn outreach, LinkedIn and emails is enough. Need more than 300,000 contacts, or want the Sales-ready list refreshed every month? Talk to us. Current prices are on the pricing section of the homepage, and the in-house cost breakdown shows what the same build costs to do yourself.

Markets change, so you can order a refresh at any time. A refresh costs $1,000.

Supported CRMs and where the list goes

We deliver into HubSpot, Salesforce and Attio. If you use something else, you get a CSV, which also loads into outbound tools such as Instantly.

Ads work differently. The list carries no ad-platform data, so you can't upload it to LinkedIn or Meta and expect it to match. To run ads to these exact people, you load the list into Contactlevel, a separate subscription that matches each contact on platforms including LinkedIn, Meta, Google and Reddit. You don't need a Contactlevel account to buy a list, only to run ads to it. LinkedIn ads for B2B covers that side.

Where the data comes from

Every build uses Contactlevel's own data: 1.2 billion business contacts worldwide, with the deepest coverage in North America, then the EU and the UK. Contact records refresh every 14 days, and intent signals refresh every 24 hours with up to 14 days of backfill. Every work email is checked with an email verifier before delivery. B2B data accuracy explains how verification and decay work.

Contactlevel's Trust Center lists SOC 2 Type 2 as in progress and holds its latest penetration test report, available on request. Anyone whose details are in the data can ask for them to be removed through Contactlevel's privacy request page. The B2B data compliance guide covers the rules for outreach.

Frequently asked questions

How long does an AdsGTM build take?
Most builds are delivered within 72 hours of the 30-minute kickoff call, into HubSpot, Salesforce or Attio, or as a CSV.
Do I need a Contactlevel account?
Only if you want to run ads to the list. Buying the list doesn’t need one. To advertise to the exact contacts on platforms like LinkedIn or Meta, you load the list into Contactlevel, which is a separate subscription.
Can you build from our own list of target accounts?
Yes. Send a CSV of companies and we find the buyers inside each one. For High Command we built 2,683 contacts from a company CSV.
Do you work with agencies?
Yes. We build TAM lists that agencies deliver to their clients, and we offer partner pricing. Book a call to talk it through.
Should I add phone numbers?
Add phones if your team cold calls. If you only run ads, email and LinkedIn outreach, the LinkedIn and emails option is enough.
What if we don’t have an ICP?
Most teams we work with don’t have one written down. We start from your offer, best customers and won deals, agree the criteria with you on the kickoff call and check them against live counts.
